We are seeking a skilled Site Manager to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team at Connect Central, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate site activities, including planning, organizing, and controlling resources.
- Supervise and motivate a team of tradespeople, labourers, and sub-contractors to achieve project goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including SMSTS and IPAF certifications.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects that meet their needs and expectations.
- Monitor and control project costs, including materials, labour, and equipment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve site efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing construction projects, preferably in a fast-track retail fit-out environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
