Accounts Assistant Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of the finance team at NC Associates, a rapidly growing family-run business with 4 brands. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be working closely with the Finance Manager to manage all aspects of the group company accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer and supplier ledgers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Implement effective credit control and credit limit management processes
  • Reconcile supplier statements and bank payments
  • Process invoices and credit card transactions
  • Provide administrative support for financial projects and tasks

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar accounting or administrative role, with excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to tasks and priorities
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a helpful and proactive approach
  • Proficiency in IT, including advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP (B1) is a plus
