Job Description

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Contracts Manager to join our Procurement team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial supplier contracts. You will work closely with our Office of the General Counsel and Information Security teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Your duties will include:

  • Drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts
  • Advising stakeholders on contractual matters, including risk management and mitigation
  • Identifying and addressing potential legal risks associated with contracts and procurement activities
  • Maintaining contract templates and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Supporting the wider Procurement team in driving innovation and improving service levels

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial contracts in a procurement setting
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with excellent commercial awareness
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and draw conclusions clearly and succinctly
  • Resilience and professionalism in dealing with conflicts and challenging situations
  • Experience in data protection matters, IT contracts, and intellectual property issues in procurement contracts (desirable)
