We are seeking a Learning Assistant to work in a school setting in Hove. This is an exciting opportunity to join a Childcare provision whose core aim is to improve the lives and prospects of the children in their care.

Job Description

This role involves creating and maintaining a supportive learning environment for children with complex needs. The ideal candidate will have a full driving licence and be able to work collaboratively with the therapeutic support team and special needs class teachers.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year proven experience gained in the field of residential child care or social care.
  • A reasonable understanding and awareness of current child care legislation.
  • A relevant qualification in, or working knowledge of, childcare & education provision.
What We Offer
  • A salary of £23,048 per annum (pro rata) based on 38.75 hours per week.
