Job Title: Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our dedicated team at Islamia Primary School. As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education to our students, promoting a secure and inclusive learning environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students in key stage 1, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and respect within the school.
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with the school's vision and values.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with best practices in education and sharing expertise with colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher status.
  • Experience of teaching in key stage 1.
  • Strong understanding of child development, learning strategies, and assessment techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
