About the Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, and other species.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, such as spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries, with precision and care.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients, prioritizing their well-being and safety.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness, promoting a healthy lifestyle for their pets.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress, ensuring seamless communication and coordination within the team.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution, such as the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK, demonstrating expertise and competence in veterinary surgery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and patients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
