Career Opportunity in Mine Waste Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Knight Piésold. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing mine waste facilities, including embankment design, stability analyses, and storage facility layouts.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Geology, with a minimum of two years' experience in the design or operation of mine waste facilities. A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related subject is preferred.

A strong understanding of numerical modeling software such as RS 2, FLAC, or PLAXIS is required, as well as proficiency in Civils3D, Muck3D, Slope/W, or similar earthworks modeling packages. Overseas applicants can be sponsored, and English fluency is mandatory.

The salary for this position is estimated at £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include profit sharing and generous remuneration.
