Job Overview

This is an exciting chance for an exceptional educator to make a significant impact in a school rated 'Good' by Ofsted. As a dynamic science teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging science lessons across Key Stages 3 - 5, depending on your specialism.



Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Delivery: Teach science subjects to students of varying ages and abilities, creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity and enthusiasm.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the science curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant, challenging, and aligned with national standards.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular constructive feedback to support their growth and improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, improve teaching strategies, and enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Leadership Opportunities: Potential to lead the Chemistry department, taking on additional responsibilities and contributing to the school's leadership team.
