Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Youth Justice Specialist to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. The successful candidate will work within our Youth, Children's Centres, Early Help & Targeted Youth Support Services, collaborating with a Local Authority in the Twickenham area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of young people who have been referred by the Police or ordered by the court, ensuring a holistic assessment of need supports a robust intervention.
  • Support children, young people, and families with a range of needs and risks related primarily to offending behaviour, addressing factors against desistance and promoting factors for desistance.
  • Attend Youth court and act as court officer, including occasional court, as part of a rota to cover Saturday court.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children, young people, and families with offending behaviour.
  • Ability to work restoratively with all children, young people, and victims of crime in line with the service restorative approach principles and standards.
  • Educated at level 4 or above professional qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Children and Youth, Social Care, Probation).

A competitive rate of pay, negotiable based on experience, and a market leading referral scheme of up to £250 for successful referrals.
