Aircraft Maintenance Professional

The Hermitage Hotel in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to lead its multi-disciplinary maintenance team. This permanent, full-time position requires strong leadership and technical skills in electrical and engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team to deliver 24/7 maintenance services, including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and rostering.
- Triage jobs raised and planned maintenance tasks across hotel rooms, motels, lodge, and staff accommodation to address issues promptly and ensure a positive guest and employee experience.
- Evaluate and maintain all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems as per department SOPs.
- Ensure high standards of health, safety, and hygiene are maintained, recorded, and reported.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including the Department of Conservation, Contractors, and Suppliers.
Requirements:
- A minimum of six months' experience in HVAC, generators, and mechanical systems or similar.
- Prior experience in property maintenance.
- A full clean NZ Driver's license as a minimum.
- Experience building, developing, and leading teams.
