We are seeking a vibrant and compassionate leader to serve as the Vicar of Hemingford Grey and Rector of Hemingford Abbots. This is a unique opportunity to lead two lively and distinct parishes in attractive rural settings, each with its own traditions and styles.
About the Role- Lead two congregations with a passion for growth and learning.
- Develop and implement strategies to reach out to all age groups, including children, young people, and families.
- Collaborate with a team of enthusiastic and skilled individuals to achieve a greater impact in our communities and mission activities.
- Provide strong but servant leadership, delegating tasks and identifying and encouraging gifts and leadership in others.
- A rich resource of an Associate priest, retired priests, and licensed and unlicensed laity, all involved in leading worship services and preaching.
- Enthusiastic and energetic teams of people involved in all aspects of the life of the two churches.
- Opportunities for personal, professional, and spiritual growth.
- A vibrant faith and love of God, with a passion for helping others grow in their faith and share it with our communities.
- Experience relevant to helping us reach out to all age groups, including children, young people, and families.
- Comfortable leading, participating in, and encouraging a wide range of worship styles and formats.
