Job Title: Support Worker Days

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at South Downs Residential Group Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, including autism.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a person with autism and sensory needs, providing a customized, responsive, and high-quality service. You will be responsible for supporting the individual with daily living tasks, promoting their independence, and encouraging their personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Encourage independence and promote personal growth through activities and therapies
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and complex needs
  • Valid full UK driving license (held for a minimum of 1 year)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary of £25,293 (reviewed annually)
  • Opportunity to earn additional income through sleep-in shifts (£50 per night)
