About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Debt and Ratings Advisory team as an Associate. As a key member of our franchise, you will play a critical role in assisting corporate clients with their debt structure and credit ratings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and insightful input into client pitches and discussions, focusing on ratings, debt structuring, and capital structure.
  • Assist corporate clients and internal teams in event financing and structuring by offering analytical research, insights, and execution support.
  • Interact with clients in the context of advisory mandates, working closely with capital market teams to structure and execute transactions with rating implications.
  • Work across all corporate sectors and NatWest geographies, leveraging expertise in investment grade debt, private placements, leveraged finance, infrastructure, and project finance.
  • Respond to client requests for proposals, answering relevant questions and developing client solutions.
  • Provide clients with tailored products and services, conducting detailed financial, credit, and structure analysis to derive client insights.
  • Collect and organize industry-specific information, summarizing key themes in presentations.
Requirements
  • Passion for continuous learning and excellent customer service.
  • Good analytical skills, including demonstrated knowledge of financial modeling and credit analysis.
  • Knowledge and expertise in credit, credit ratings, and capital structure.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Good organization and multi-tasking skills to respond to shifting priorities on multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and ability to solve complex issues and problems.
  • Experience influencing colleagues and stakeholders.
