Job Title: Clinical Skills Facilitator

We are seeking an experienced Nurse or Physiotherapist to join our Clinical Education Team as a Clinical Skills Facilitator. This role will focus on delivering training and education to our Care Team on complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, 22.5 hours per week, over 3 days. You will be required to work flexibly, including twilight nights and early mornings, to support our clinical staff's rotas. The role will be based at our Hospice on Lark Rise, Loughborough.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training and education to the Care Team on complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills.
  • Develop and maintain relevant education and training agendas/resources.
  • Provide support and guidance to the Care Team in building their competencies and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Education Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality education and training.
Requirements

Essential requirements include:

  • Registration as a Nurse or Physiotherapist.
  • Experience of complex respiratory support and invasive ventilation skills, working with children who have complex needs.
  • Managerial, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop staff members within their clinical skills development and education.

Desirable requirements include experience working within palliative care and the ability to develop relevant education and training agendas/resources.
