Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to manage our most complex and exciting capital projects at the University of Bath.

This dynamic role involves managing key projects across our diverse estate, ranging from our purpose-built campus to new campus upgrades. As a Project Coordinator, you will draw on the experience of diverse project teams, collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders, and take responsibility for project performance, quality assurance, and risk assessments.

You will be responsible for developing cohesive project teams through effective procurement, contracting, and coordination of services either through in-house resources, external consultants, or contractors/sub-contractors.

The ideal candidate should have proven success in delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously within a similar estate environment, relevant qualifications such as a Chartered Project Manager or Quantity Surveyor status, an understanding of NEC and JCT contracts, and experience procuring, contracting, and allocating/managing workloads for internal and external colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex projects across the university's diverse estate
  • Develop and lead project teams to ensure successful project delivery

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project performance, quality assurance, and risk assessments
