The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to multi-site retailers, smaller local independent retailers & merchants, and house builders. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Conduct thorough checks on load items, security, and equipment to ensure safe and secure transportation.
Unload goods at customer premises safely and efficiently, taking into account the care and attention for the general public.
Adhere to transport legislation and take regular breaks in accordance with the rules in place.
