Education Support Specialist

Ribbons & Reeves, London's leading Education Recruiters, specialise in helping educators secure long-term and permanent roles. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Learning Behaviour Assistant in a school based in Greenwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to further their experience working with children who display SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs and/or resistant behaviour. As a Learning Behaviour Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the provision of support for individual students with social, emotional and/or behaviour difficulties, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working with children who have additional learning needs in a school setting, a degree educated with a minimum of a 2:1, and strong communication skills and patience. You will also have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, promoting the effective use of behaviour management strategies, and develop 1:1 mentoring relationships with identified pupils.
As a Learning Behaviour Assistant, you can expect a competitive salary of up to £95 per day via PAYE (weekly pay). This role offers an ideal opportunity to gain valuable experience and enhance your skills in supporting students with SEMH needs.
