Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Threat Security Advisor to join our team at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO). As a key member of our Protective Security Advisory Team, you will provide in-depth security advice to our clients, including detailed guidance and site visits to understand current and future work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide threat and counter-threat expertise in support of our team and clients, including advice on projects and awareness briefs.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth security knowledge, including electronic security systems and physical security items.
  • Manage technical documents and provide focused threat, counter-threat, and security training for our staff and external clients.
  • Collaborate with our project managers and client security officers to ensure effective security solutions.
  • Conduct site visits and provide expert advice to ensure the highest levels of security protection.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in security, with a strong understanding of electronic and physical security systems.
  • Excellent management information skills, with the ability to manage technical documents and provide training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent our team at high-level external meetings.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage a small team.
  • Financial management skills, including estimating, job costing, invoicing, procurement, and budget management.
  • Flexibility to attend site meetings and other locations when necessary.
