Manufacturing Engineer Role Overview

Our client, based in Blackwood, is currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maximizing machine output while maintaining manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance programs.
  • Monitor machinery condition and plan and carry out essential repairs.
  • Promote TPM approach, working on various engineering projects.
  • Respond to minor and major breakdowns.
  • Prepare sub-assemblies.
  • Tool changes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a formal qualification, ONC/HNC, BTEC/City and Guilds in an Engineering Discipline, or relevant experience. You should also have experience of high-speed, high-volume production environments and possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
