Chef - Melton Mowbray

At Eurest, we're seeking a skilled Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers. Your role will involve overseeing menu changes, identifying opportunities to improve our food services, and listening to customer feedback to consistently enhance our offerings. You'll also support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts, representing Eurest and maintaining a positive brand image. Additionally, you'll be responsible for monitoring inventories, overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities, and complying with food handling, hygiene, and health and safety regulations. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service, hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, have experience supervising a team, and hold a Food Hygiene certificate. Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
  • Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Eurest and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
  • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
  • Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations


Requirements:
  • Passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Experience supervising a team
  • Experience in a similar Chef role
  • Food Hygiene certificate
  • Flexible approach to working
