Cybersecurity Engineer

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer - Windows to join our team at Lockheed Martin UK – Strategic Systems. As a Cybersecurity Engineer - Windows, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining critical security protocols, overseeing backup and disaster recovery solutions, and contributing to impactful IT infrastructure projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain critical security protocols.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and data integrity solutions.
• Contribute to impactful IT infrastructure projects.
• Maintain and resolve issues with our server and network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V.
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and group policies.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.

About You:

• You have proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer / Windows System Administrator or similar 3rd line support role.
• You have experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• You have experience with Windows Exchange Server.
• You have proficiency in networking concepts and hardware, including VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and routers.
• You have strong experience with virtualisation platforms (VMware or Hyper-V).
• You have understanding of security best practices, backup concepts, and disaster recovery planning.
