About the Role

The successful candidate will support high-volume manufacturing by conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and optimising process performance. They will collaborate with the Projects Team to implement equipment modifications, ensuring efficiency is maintained within cleanroom and controlled environments.

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks and respond to equipment malfunctions to ensure continuous production.
  • Monitor equipment performance and provide technical input to improve process yields and efficiencies.
  • Work closely with the Projects Team to implement changes and upgrades.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records in line with quality standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Engineering experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, with skills in fault finding and problem solving.
  • Completion of a recognised Engineering apprenticeship or higher education qualification (ONC, HNC, HND, or degree).
  • Maintain high standards of record keeping and adherence to quality systems.
  • Experience with laser cutting, micro fluid deposition, vision systems, or regulated industries (pharma/medical devices) is advantageous but not essential.
Location and Salary

This role is based in Oxford, Oxfordshire, and offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
