Job Title: Glazing Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Glazing Estimator to join our team in the construction industry. As an experienced Estimator, you will be responsible for selling high-end manufactured secondary glazing systems.

The ideal candidate will have estimating experience within the construction industry, preferably working for a manufacturer. Experience in the secondary glazing, primary glazing, glass, glazing, windows, doors, and fenestration market sector is highly advantageous.

You will be responsible for taking enquiries from clients, offering technical guidance and advice, analyzing drawings and specifications, writing up quotes, and discussing them with clients. Building and developing relationships with clients throughout the process to encourage repeat business is also crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take enquiries from clients over the phone and email
  • Offer technical guidance and advice to clients
  • Analyze drawings and specifications to gain a full understanding of projects
  • Write up quotes on the back of enquiries and discuss with clients
  • Build and develop relationships with clients throughout the process
  • Deal with projects ranging in value from £10k up to £2m
Requirements:
  • Estimating experience within the construction industry, ideally working for a manufacturer
  • Experience in the secondary glazing, primary glazing, glass, glazing, windows, doors, and fenestration market sector is highly advantageous
  • Good understanding of technical drawings
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build and develop relationships
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Driven, hungry, ambitious, and enthusiastic

Remuneration: £35,000 - £38,000 + quarterly bonus
