As a Water Infrastructure Specialist with Wellington Professional Recruitment, you will be joining a leading water and wastewater specialist contractor with offices throughout the UK and Ireland.

You will be based in the Northern Ireland office and work as part of a multidisciplinary team on various water projects, including new installations, refurbishments, and upgrades. Your responsibilities will include aspects of design, bid preparation, plant specification, site asset surveys, energy efficiency, and project management roles at construction and commissioning stages.

You will report to the Project Manager and assist with design and coordination for the MEICA aspects of current projects. Key tasks will include overseeing planning and programming, liaising with the design team and site installation works to ensure satisfactory design, construction, commissioning, and handover, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, environmental policies, QMS, customer requirements, and general duty of care.

In addition, you will monitor progress with respect to cost and quality, prepare progress reports for presentation to the Contracts Manager, attend site progress meetings, value engineering workshops, and demonstrate a desire to work within the wastewater or water industry.

The salary for this role is £Negotiable depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have good IT skills, including MS Project, Word, and Excel, and CAD experience would be advantageous. There may be travel required throughout Northern Ireland and occasional trips to ROI.
