Job Title: Chief Commercial Officer

The Chief Commercial Officer will lead the Commercial, surveying and purchasing team, overseeing all expenditure and controlling 'cost of sales'. They will take a strategic view from land acquisition to customer care initiatives, providing commercial advice to the divisional board and assisting the Managing Director in budget preparation and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work effectively as part of the senior management team, taking a 'whole company' perspective to managing issues.
  • Actively promote best practice throughout the company, ensuring corporate governance responsibilities are met.
  • Manage the company's Commercial function to ensure best practices are followed, costs are controlled, and revenue generation is maximized.
  • Produce the commercial report for inclusion in land appraisal.
  • Ensure all build costs are current and correctly appraised.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial background, with experience in leading teams and driving business growth. They will be able to provide strategic advice and guidance to the divisional board and Managing Director.
