As a Commissioning Manager, you'll play a critical role in helping us answer this question. You'll be the main contact between the client and HDR, directing and managing all Commissioning activities on the project. This will involve adhering to budgeted man-hours and executing commissioning services, coordinating with the client and assisting contractors in scheduling commissioning activities, and performing other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • LEED accreditation

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be willing to travel regularly
  • Must be an experienced engineer or field technician with excellent understanding of MEP systems, HVAC controls, and the T&B process
  • Must have good computer skills and effective typing skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project software
  • Ability and interest in working with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be familiar with the organization of design documents, the preparation of multidiscipline designs, and the delivery of design and construction services
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the United States and immediately available to begin work in the location specified
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, systems engineering, operations fundamentals, contracting, and general business operations
  • Understanding of project accounting and financial management tools
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work; ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
