Job Description: Education Mentor for Children with Special Needs

We are seeking a skilled Education Mentor to join our team at TeachMatch. As an Education Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs and helping them reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with special needs. A background in special education or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SUPPORT STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS BY PROVIDING INDIVIDUALIZED ATTENTION AND MAKING PROGRESS IN THEIR LEARNING.
  • ASSIST TEACHERS WITH LESSON PLANNING, PREPARATION, AND IMPLEMENTATION WHILE MAINTAINING A RESPECTFUL ATMOSPHERE IN THE CLASSROOM.
Essential Requirements:
  • Degree in Education or related field; experience working with special needs children.
  • Previous experience in creative writing or educational mentoring is considered an asset.
