About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Nurse to join our Outpatient Department team at The Westbourne Centre. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional standards of patient care and contributing to the development of high-quality evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the Outpatient Manager to oversee day-to-day clinical activity and ensure efficient use of staff hours
- Participate in clinical governance and audits to ensure the highest standards of care
- Assist in the rostering of staff to ensure efficient use of staff hours
- Optimize the use of consumables and stock levels
- Regular liaison with the maintenance department to ensure service dates for equipment are adhered to
- Competent in the deployment of resources needed to sustain agreed activity levels
- Install positivity into the team and work together with all staff members
