Job Summary

The University of Wolverhampton is seeking a Principal Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education to lead and manage partnerships and placement learning. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching and leading in higher education, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS UK), and an excellent understanding of Secondary Education in the UK.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Education as a Principal Lecturer and contribute to the performance and development of the wider School. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing partnerships and placement learning, and will have experience of PSRB requirements in Initial Teacher Education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage partnerships and placement learning
  • Teach and lead in higher education
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS UK)
  • Have an excellent understanding of Secondary Education in the UK
  • Have experience of PSRB requirements in Initial Teacher Education
