Technical Paraplanner

We are seeking a skilled Technical Paraplanner to join our team in Guildford. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the opportunity to work from home and in our office.

Our client is a boutique wealth management firm based in the Surrey area, providing expert financial advice to private and corporate clients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, summarizing recommendation options, and drafting reports for our Financial Planners. They will also be expected to maintain a high level of technical knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting research and analysis to identify suitable solutions for clients
  • Summarizing recommendation options and drafting reports
  • Maintaining technical knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry developments
  • Working collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality client reports
  • Supporting the development of processes and ideas within the team

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or higher
  • Specialist qualifications such as Long Term Care, Equity Release, and Pension Transfer are advantageous
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Experience of using IT systems, including Intelligent Office and FE Analytics
  • Ability to work well in a team and maintain a high level of technical knowledge
