Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Principal ASIC Design Engineer to join our HW team in Cambridge.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Principal ASIC Design Engineer to contribute to the success of a well-established industry name with a passion for creativity and innovation. Ideally, you will be an experienced design engineer capable of working autonomously and have a good level of experience in complex SoC designs.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience working on:

  • Complex SoC designs
  • Digital and physical silicon IP, including processors, USB, PCIe, DDR SDRAM, Wi-Fi, SDIO/eMMC, MIPI CSI/DSI
  • Interconnect standards

In addition, you will possess expert-level Verilog/SystemVerilog skills for design and verification and familiarity with scripting languages.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities. While there is scope for career progression and mentorship, this role is ideal for an individual contributor who is keen to take on various projects and tasks.

We offer a competitive salary of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits including stock options and a relaxed working environment.
