Job Title: Senior SQL Data Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Data Developer to join our team at eTeam. As a key member of our Data & Analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data warehouse solutions using SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance data warehouse solutions using SQL Server
  • Develop and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, and database schemas
  • Optimize database design for optimal performance and advise on best practices for developers interacting with the database
  • Manage development issues, attend project meetings, and undertake peer reviews
  • Unit and integration testing of code, and provide support to testing cycles ensuring that defects are resolved
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in writing queries and stored procedures in SQL Server
  • Hands-on experience in data profiling and debugging
  • Familiarity with high standards of TSQL coding for stored procedures, functions, etc.
  • Experience in performance tuning techniques and tools
  • Deep understanding of data pipelines, data governance, and ETL processes in a Data Warehouse type environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in SQL Server 2016 performance tuning
  • Good working knowledge of TSQLT unit testing
  • AWS Glue – to create Data Creation and Data Provisioning workflows for loading data into AWS
  • AWS S3, AWS Data Lake, and AWS Lambda
