  • This role involves leading a defined contract, ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded.">
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability.">
  • A key aspect of this role is providing healthy and safe working conditions, ensuring clients' and company health and safety policies are implemented.">
  • Succession planning arrangements must be in place to ensure contracts are staffed by fully competent teams.">
  • Collaborative development of the business and effective teamworking with other Operational Managers is crucial.">
  • You will develop contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reducing WOM, debt, cost reduction, and contract growth.">
  • Appropriate control systems must be implemented to meet statutory, policy, and contractual commitments.">
  • Providing leadership, guidance, coaching, and support to deliver best practice in selection, training, assessment, and recognition/reward is essential.">
  • Effective business communication through management and team meetings, briefings, and reporting is vital.">
  • A learning environment and appropriate training and development planning must be provided.">
  • Line management responsibility for a contract team and indirectly for relevant sub-contractors is included.">
  • Financial responsibility for delivering Plan commitments for the contract lies with this role.">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Managerial experience at Contract/Account Manager or above within technical and/or hard services (essential).">
  • Delivery of wider facilities management services (desirable).">

Circumstances

Incumbents will be required to travel to support operational delivery and participate in training and business review. Some overnight stays will be needed.
