About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics and test specifications.
  • Work with suppliers to select and procure components, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Contribute to the development of manufacturing information, including production plans and technical reports.
  • Support the production team through the initial phases of manufacturing, ensuring smooth transition from design to production.
Requirements
  • Educated to HNC level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, and experience with electrical schematic capture and drawing review.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
