What does the role involve?

  • Assist with food preparation, including cooking breakfast items, vegetable preparation, and making sandwiches, as directed by our experienced team.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment and areas are cleaned according to our strict schedules, demonstrating your ability to be organized and methodical.
  • Adhere to statutory and Company Health and Safety Regulations, prioritizing the well-being of our residents and staff.
  • Store dry and perishable goods correctly, checking them as soon as possible after receipt.
  • Properly store cleaning materials, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Thoroughly clean all crockery, cutlery, and drinking vessels for resident use, utilizing our main kitchen dish washing machine.
  • Clean and store pots, pans, cooking utensils, and service counter containers to the required standards.
