We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide individualized support to students with diverse needs. This role is ideal for someone genuinely committed to helping students excel in their academic and personal growth.

About the Role:

  • Provide personalized support to students with special educational needs, including autism and social-emotional challenges.
  • Work closely with teachers and fellow SEN staff to foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Implement tailored strategies to encourage positive behaviour and active participation in learning activities.
  • Assist with behaviour management, helping to maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.

Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Strong knowledge of behaviour management techniques.
  • Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs, including physical disabilities, language disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or special education.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate with families and other professionals.
  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children.
