Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Location: Dalkeith

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team on a mobile basis across the Dalkeith area. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and reactive maintenance work on electrical systems, diagnosing and resolving faults, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will hold a 17th or 18th Edition qualification and have previous experience working on commercial sites. You will work closely with clients to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The salary for this position is estimated at £38,000 per annum, with the potential to earn up to £50,000 through unlimited overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across various commercial settings, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, and emergency lighting.
  • Keep precise records using our advanced computerised maintenance management system.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults, always ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • 17th, or 18th edition qualification.
  • Recognised apprenticeship SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Prior experience working within Facilities Management or Building Services.
