Immigration Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Solicitor to join our team at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. As a leading law firm in the UK, we provide high-quality legal services to individuals and businesses across various sectors.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on Immigration law matters.
- Manage and supervise Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, and Caseworkers to ensure efficient case management.
- Assist in delivering training and development programs within the department.
- Deal with a range of Immigration work, including detained clients, victims of trafficking and torture, asylum applications, and appeals.
- Prepare and manage funding applications to the Legal Aid Agency.
- Prepare draft documents, including witness statements and processing evidence.
- Attend conferences and court proceedings.
- Registered with the Law Society Immigration & Asylum Law Accreditation.
- Strong management skills and ability to work with a team.
- Excellent client care skills and ability to deal with vulnerable clients.
- Proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators.
- Excellent networking and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of publicly funded Immigration work and ability to service privately funded cases.
