We are seeking a highly skilled SHE Manager to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, health, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective safety management systems to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage the SHE team to achieve high performance standards and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Collaborate with operational teams to provide timely and effective advice on SHE matters and ensure that all reporting requirements are met.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and regulatory bodies, to promote a positive and proactive approach to SHE.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety.
- Membership of a relevant professional institution, such as IOSH or IIRSM.
- Proven experience in practical Health and Safety within the construction or utilities sectors.
- Experience of incident investigation and reporting.
- Full driving license.
