About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Support Professional to join our team at DLS Computers in Chelmsford, Essex. The successful candidate will provide technical support and maintenance services to Primary schools in the area.

The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of Windows 10/11 desktop and some server and group policy knowledge, with at least two years' previous experience, willingness to learn new skills and work independently.

Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as well as a full UK driving licence and use of a car.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is negotiable, depending on experience but in the range of £28,000 - £33,000 Pro Rata. This will start with three days a week, working up to full time but a full-time position could be offered to an ideal candidate.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to Primary schools in the area.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems and software.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve company goals.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience in ICT support and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
