Our client, a leading consultancy business based in the UK, is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join their DevOps team. With steady growth and a strong commitment to innovation, this company offers a fantastic opportunity for ambitious individuals to grow and develop their skills.

Salary

£22,500 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping the company transition to a cloud-based culture and approach. This will involve continuously finding ways to increase development and operations velocity, building tools to create fast, reliable, and secure pipelines, and managing the lifecycle of the Software Factory.

Key responsibilities include accompanying the company's cloud, Kubernetes, and serverless migration, bringing better ways to manage solutions, and providing support to development and operations teams on transversal topics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science or a similar field, skills in application development and release processes, and experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including Java, C#, Go, or NodeJS. Basic knowledge around the management of an application in operational conditions and scripting skills in Ruby, Groovy, Python, Shell, or another common language are also required.
