Science Cover Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Cover Supervisor to join our team at a secondary school in Greenwich. The successful candidate will be based in the science department and will have a background in science. This is an ongoing temp to perm position that would suit someone who is interested in teaching as a future career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Managing classroom behavior and ensuring students remain on task.
  • Assisting with the development of educational resources.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff and senior leaders.
Requirements:
  • A background in Science is essential.
  • A passion for education and a genuine interest in working with secondary school students.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • The ability to adapt to different year groups.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
  • A relevant degree is desirable.
