Education Specialist

Our approach keeps the team around the child, ensuring that you will be supported throughout every placement by our dedicated SEN/SEND Support Specialists.
This role is perfect for qualified SEN/SEND teachers who are eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

We estimate that this role comes with an annual salary range of £30,000-£40,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND
- Support young people with SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
- Deliver flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
- Plan and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of young people
- Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND and SEMH
- Enhanced DBS and safeguarding knowledge
- Two professional references
- Right to work in the UK
