About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountancy Manager to join our team in Alderley Edge. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, providing expert advice, and building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring excellent service delivery and professional growth.
  • Manage client relationships, providing tailored advice and guidance to meet their financial needs.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and retain client relationships, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement business strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals.
About You
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 8 years of experience in managing teams within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client care and building relationships.
  • A team player who thrives in a supportive, social environment and enjoys celebrating success.
  • Strong technical knowledge with a commercial mindset.
