About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Craftsperson to join our team at the National Nuclear Laboratory. As a Mechanical Craftsperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our nuclear facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment and plant
  • Carry out safe and controlled isolations of mechanical plant
  • Complete job cards and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Support the installation, modification, and commissioning of rigs and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Time-served recognized Mechanical Craft Apprenticeship
  • Proven ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings
  • Ability to obtain DV level security clearance
