Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Administrator to join our team at Kidwells Solicitors. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about law and administration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our solicitors, including drafting legal correspondence, answering phones, and greeting visitors.

About the Role:

  • Drafting legal correspondence and documents
  • Answering phones and responding to emails
  • Greeting visitors and managing the front desk
  • Organizing and maintaining files and documents
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Making travel arrangements and booking hotels
  • Filing documents with the court and other authorities

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma in Administrative and Secretarial Procedures or equivalent
  • Legal Secretaries Diploma run by the Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs (ILSPA)
  • City & Guilds/Cilex Level 3 Certificate for Legal Secretaries

Skills and Experience:

  • Effective communication and professional written English
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organisational skills for managing lawyers' diaries and work schedules
  • IT skills for working with legal technology
  • Teamwork and discretion with clients and colleagues
