Proposal Developer

Biosynth is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Writer to join its Complex Chemicals Division. As a key member of the team, this individual will play a crucial role in developing high-quality proposals for customers and collaborating with commercial teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and industry standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Screen new RFPs for technical fit, coordinating with Biosynth technical leads.
- Assist business development teams in client-facing calls to extract necessary information from clients to build professional and accurate proposals.
- Estimate project costs for new project RFPs, resupply batches, and change orders by working with site technical leads.
- Create professional proposals summarizing pricing strategies and technical approaches for each project.
- Enable the proposal approval process from initial technical review to final leadership approval of the project strategy and cost structure.
- Suggest cost strategies for each work package in proposals in communication with technical leads and business development.
- Lead proposal completion, keeping site technical leads, business developers, and business unit leadership updated with progress and informing them of any information required to finalize the proposal.
- Perform workflows in Biosynth CRM relating to proposal and quotation management.
- Review results of completed projects with management to ensure ongoing costing structures in proposals are accurate and profitable.
