We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in Ludlow. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to young people in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Encourage and support young people to develop their independence and take responsibility for their own lives.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment within the residential home.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives.
- Support young people in managing challenging behaviors and promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans and support plans.
- Experience working with children and young people in a residential or healthcare setting is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
- Valid full driver's license and ability to transport young people as required.
- Opportunity to complete the Level 3 Children & Young People qualification - fully funded.
