Job SummaryWe're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered General Nurse to work on a bank basis, providing high-quality care to our residents. As a bank nurse, you'll have the flexibility to choose when you work and how many hours you want to commit to.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and develop effective care strategies.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in care delivery.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A current registration with the NMC as a Registered General Nurse.
- Experience working with older adults, preferably in a care home setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- A strong understanding of care planning processes and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
