Electrical Training Instructor Role Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance professional with a genuine desire for people development to join our team at Oakmoor Recruitment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in the Electrical industry and a genuine desire to move into a training role, enjoy working in a learning environment, and have a L3 or above qualification.

The Role of the Electrical Training Instructor

To deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of Electrical Engineering qualifications delivered at a high-tech training facility (classroom-based delivery). Train learners towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards.

We are seeking self-motivated, team players with a 'hands on approach' to work within a rewarding environment.

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience as a time served electrical engineer
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of working with young people

Qualifications & Competencies

  • A level 3 (or above) electrical qualification
  • Assessor Qualification- A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent (desirable)
  • Teaching qualification (desirable)
  • This position is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance
